Midge Hall Methodist Church is fully committed to the promotion of equality of opportunity, valuing and embracing diversity and ensuring a holistic and inclusive approach in all fields of its activity. The Church adheres to The Equality Act 2010 which recognises the following specific protected characteristics: gender, gender reassignment, race, disability, age, religion or belief, sexual orientation, marriage & civil partnership and pregnancy & maternity.

General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
The GDPR became enforceable on 25 May 2018 and is a legal framework that sets guidelines for the collection and processing of personal information of individuals within the European Union.
Midge Hall Methodist Church holds a variety of personal data including details of members and in order to comply with the new regulations, the Church is adopting the Methodist Church published Privacy Notice that tells you what the Church does with your personal data. The Notice is displayed on the Safeguarding Notice Board in the Church Hall and relevant information detailed in the monthly Midge Hall Messenger and weekly newsletter. You can read it online at:
